REQUIREMENTS PROFILE

Professional Galaxy is now looking for a MySQL Consultant (Level 3) for the Single Digital Gateway (SDG) assignment, at our client.

CLIENT DESCRIPTION

The assignment includes, among other things, identifying needs, setting up and configuring a MySQL database in production, creating operational and management documentation, knowledge transfer to staff, and support during production deployment. It is also possible that the consultant's efforts may be needed in other assignments at our client. This assignment requires a security protection agreement level three (3), where the consultant's security classification is two (2).

Scope of the assignment:• Document architecture for MySQL regarding Domnibus• Set up a new database in production, update and configure the database in multiple environments in OpenShift• Provide capacity and performance recommendations• Ensure backup management• Set up logging, audit log, application log• Set up alarms and monitoring• Secure the database, e.g. role and rights management, logging and traceability (audit-log), encryption, configuration, certificates• Troubleshoot the database in case of performance issues, deadlocks, unexpected stops• Conduct restore tests• Create operational and management documentation with backup/restore, upgrades of the database, upgrading of schemas in the database in connection with updates of Domibus, incident routines, etc.• Knowledge transfer to the DevSecOps team so that they can independently manage production and maintenance• Support during production deployment

MUST REQUIREMENTS

The must requirements must be met to be offered to the client.- The consultant agrees to undergo a security review and background check (class 2).- The consultant is a Swedish citizen. 2.3 Competence level The consultant must meet at least competence level 3. 2.5 Competence requirements - MySQL consultant a) Speak and write Swedish and English fluently. b) Have at least 3 years of experience in operating MySQL in business-critical systems c) Have good knowledge of developing backup and restore procedures with verification for MySQL d) Have good knowledge of securing MySQL databases e) Have good knowledge of capacity and performance for MySQL f) Have good knowledge of troubleshooting in MySQL

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

g) Have good experience in setting up databases in Openshift/Kubernetes including e.g. Persistent Volumes (PVC) and backup in container environments. h) Have good experience in setting up alarms/monitoring and monitoring of databases with e.g. Prometheus and Grafana.

WORK LOCATION The consultant will work at the client's office in Sundsvall or Stockholm, at least one (1) day per week or more if the business requires it. The consultant's work location will therefore be Sundsvall or Stockholm.
